What kind of seeds are you planting?

Have you ever stopped looked at a garden and actually thought about how it grows?

How nature again teaches us a valuable lesson.

I’m no green thumb, unlike my Dad. He can grow anything.

I’ve been known to kill aloe plants. Do you know how hard that is to do?

Over the past few years, I have started to learn more about gardening and the care a successful one needs.

Paying attention to the simple things that make a difference, like oh ya I need to water the garden,

but not too much water, and make sure to tend to the garden daily.

As you know all gardens start as seeds and grow into beautiful gardens when planted in good soil and are tended with care. It is how you tend the garden daily that truly matters, just like our thoughts.

Like, if I forget to water the seeds, if they don’t have the right balance of sun, shade, and weeding there is no growth. Similar to if I am constantly filling my mind with negative, harmful thoughts there is no growth. It would be like dumping weed killer on all your positive growth and actions.

I’ve also learned that nature does not mess up. It doesn’t

rush or worry about how to make the garden grow. It just

grows at its own rate. I can not force the growth I can simply tend to it.

Just like the garden, our dreams, goals, and thoughts are the seeds.

They need to be planted in good, rich soil.

The soil of who you are, and how you are showing up

in the world--is your soil positive or negative?

Are you pushing and pushing, worrying and worrying?

If so, try acting like nature, just grow with ease and grace.

Take care of your mind, body, and soul daily just like you would a garden.

Remember, like seeds in a garden, it takes time to

grow, so keep tending and watering your dreams.

Let God do the rest. Your dreams will take off.

What dreams do you need to tend to today and then let nature do the rest?
